Day 4
Luxor-Esna-Edfu
After enjoying your first breakfast onboard, you’ll head out to explore the West Bank of Luxor, starting with the renowned Valley of the Kings. This sacred site was the final resting place of kings from the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties. Adorned with vibrant, intricate wall paintings, the tombs are a must-see on any visit to the West Bank.
Next, visit the awe-inspiring Temple of Hatshepsut, nestled at the base of the dramatic cliffs bordering the desert hills. Partly carved into the rock, the temple features a striking representation of Queen Hatshepsut in male pharaoh attire, including a beard and short apron, symbolizing her full authority as a ruler.
Your day continues with a visit to the imposing Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues once part of a larger temple. According to legend, the statues would emit a musical note at sunrise, believed to be Memnon greeting his mother, the goddess Eos. After this fascinating exploration of the Theban “City of the Dead,” you’ll return to your boat for lunch before setting sail from Luxor to Edfu, passing through Esna. Later in the day, join the Manager’s Cocktail Party in the Bar. As you dine, the boat continues its majestic journey to Edfu, where you’ll spend the night onboard.

After lunch, relax and enjoy a delightful afternoon tea on the sundeck as the boat sails toward Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, visit the remarkable Great Temple of Kom Ombo, with its towering columns that rise dramatically along the Nile’s bank, offering one of Egypt’s most iconic views. After your visit, board the boat as it sets sail toward Aswan. Enjoy dinner and later, join the fun at the Galabeya Party in the bar. The boat will overnight in Aswan.
Day 6

After breakfast, start your day with a visit to the Aswan High Dam, one of modern Egypt’s most praised and yet debated engineering feats. Construction began in 1960 and took 11 years to complete.
Next, take a short sail on a traditional felucca to the Temples of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. These temples were saved from submersion by UNESCO’s rescue project during the construction of the High Dam, and were carefully relocated from Philae Island to Agilika Island, piece by piece.
Then, visit the Unfinished Obelisk, a massive chunk of stone measuring 41 meters long and 4 meters wide. If completed, it would have weighed 1,168 tons, making it the largest obelisk ever carved. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing felucca ride along the Nile and explore the lush Botanical Garden, offering a perfect opportunity to connect with nature.
